PARENTS' CORNER

Welcome to the Parent's Corner! We want all parents/caregivers to know that enrolment in our programs is a great start to supporting your children's success. You can feel confident in knowing that your child(ren) is getting the help they need in their school work and other areas.

Your kids also have the opportunity to participate in buddy reading, spelling bees and math sprints as well as get involved in various other activities that help develop a range of abilities and skills. Some of these include table tennis (ping pong), group board games, outdoor games, drumming, gardening, robotics and more. We encourage play time as it is an integral part of a child's development. All of this translates into a learning environment that supports healthy, positive and socially responsible development.

Please Note:

While DYC staff and volunteers do their best to address any specific challenges a child may encounter, it is important that parents/caregivers make every effort to engage with the staff and volunteers regarding their child. It is the parent/caregiver's responsibility to check in on their child's progress and work with the staff and volunteers to overcome specific challenges. We often have presentations or performances that the children put on and strongly encourage parents and caregivers to support by attending.

We are here to support both you and your child, so don't be shy! Please chat with us!
